Halibut is the largest of the flatfish, being highly esteemed for their firm, meaty and tasteful flesh.
Our Halibut have been line caught at sea in the North East Atlantic seas allowing for the best-quality fish to be caught.
We have just changed to a new specification for this product. They are now much bigger and uniform in size.
They have then been individually vacuum packaged in portions of 225 -280g per portion
Although Halibut is not one of the most oil rich fish it still provides the body with omega-3 fatty acids. In one 170g portion of Halibut there is 36% of the recommended daily intake of phosphorus, 37% of vitamin B6, 40% of magnesium, 71% of niacin and 91% of vitamin B12 (according to dietitian Leslie Beck)
