Cockles are typically associated with Dublin, but are available all across the world. The meat of cockles is considered to be a delicate flesh which can be eaten raw, steamed or boiled. Its flavour is said to be salty and is delicate.
Our Cockle meat has been prepared so that it is cooked and has been removed from its shell.
Cockle meat is great for providing the body with Omega-3 which is essential within the diet to maintain a constant supply to the body.
