Pangasius is a special variety of freshwater fish and is currently the tenth most consumed fish in the US (according to Seafood Health Facts)! Pangasius is the scientific name for freshwater catfish typically found in areas such as Vietnam and Cambodia.   

Our Pangasius fillets have been prepared to make them both skinless and boneless. These fillets have then been packed into 1kg gross weight bags, once defrosted and free from the protective ice glaze the fillets carry a net weight of 800g. Per 1kg gross weight bag there are around 4 fillets. Our pangash have been farmed in Vietnam. 

In recent years, Pangasius has been recognised for it's cost effectiveness, health benefits and levels of Omega-3. It is a fish which is: rich in protein, average in fat, low in saturated fats, contains low cholesterol with around 60% of the total calorie count being taken up by protein and 40% by fat.

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a shallow pan or baking sheet with cooking spray.
    2. Place fish fillets into the prepared pan.
    3. Heat margarine in a saucepan over medium heat. ...
    4. Bake in the preheated oven until fish flakes easily with a fork, 10 to 12 minutes.

Used pangasius instead of cod for fish & chips. Enough fish for 4 large portions.
