Serving Suggestions

They are easy to cook and prepare

If the tails are frozen, you'll need to thaw them out before you cook them. When the lobster tails are thawed, you should easily be able to touch the top of the lobster tail to the end of the tailflap.

To thaw put them in the fridge for 24 hours so they are completely defrosted. If you are in a hurry, seal in a bag and place in cold water for 30 minutes to an hour.

Watch this Youtube video to see how to remove the tail meat from the shell

Grilled Lobster With Lime, Ginger & Coriander Butter

  1. rub the flesh side of the lobster tail with a litte olive oil and season well
  2. cook, flesh side up, under a very hot frill for 2-3 minutes
  3. turn over to grill and colour the shell side for a couple of minutes, then turn back over and dot the lime, ginger and coriander butter over the surface
  4. flash under the grill again, just until golden and bubbling

Brazillian Lobster Tails  ✭ ✭ ✭ ✭

Succulent, tasty and great on a special occasion with a glass of Moet. As a suggestion as our lobster tails were not cut along the vein side (Unlike Waitrose lobster tails) use some scissors or a kitchen saw to make removing the shell easier after they have been barbecued.
